Sick Time

Eligible team members who are expected to work 30 hours or more per week accrue sick time hours based on actual hours paid up to a maximum of 48 hours. Accrual rate is .03125 per hour to a maximum of 2.5 hours per 80-hour pay period. However, team members are not eligible to use sick tIme until after three (3) months of employment.

Sick time hours are used only for an absence from work of more than three consecutive work days, surgery, hospitalization, or a long-term medical problem not requiring hospitalization but reoccurring within a three-day period. For illnesses that last more than 24 consecutive scheduled work hours - the first 24 scheduled hours will be paid out of paid leave, or unpaid if no paid leave is available before sick time can be accessed.

Personal Sick Day

All full-time team members in an employment status of A1, A2 or A3 who are scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week are eligible to use eight hours of their sick time benefits for a personal sick day. Use this time for an unplanned absence to support your physical or mental health and well-being.
